Mark Caserta: We must not allow crisis to bring about Arbitrary Rule and destruction

Shortly after Barack Hussein Obama won the 2008 presidential election, the man who would later become his chief of staff spoke at a Wall Street Journal corporate CEO conference.

“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste”, regurgitated then Congressman Rahm Emanuel. “And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you could not do before.”

Every society needs a set of rules by which to live to prevent chaos and ultimate destruction. Our U.S. Constitution was established to do just that!

In existence for more than two centuries, our Constitution establishes and maintains the relationship between our government, the states, and our people.  Over time, the Constitution has been amended infrequently, but always in a manner designed to guarantee the basic protections of the people.  Thousands of amendments have been proposed over the years, but only seventeen have been ratified.

It’s imperative all Americans have a clear understanding of the intent of the Constitution.  Like the Bible, (yet not nearly as exhaustive) it provides rules by which should live. It guarantees every American’s fundamental right for the protection of life, liberty, and property.

Besides creating a national government with a system of checks and balances among three branches and separating the powers of federal and state governments, our Constitution is predominantly designed to protect the individual liberties of American citizens.

Also, like the Bible, it’s a Divinely inspired document progressive liberals have committed their lives to mitigating and removing from society. While liberals have nothing profitable to offer in terms of morality and principled conduct, they are consistent in their devotion to remove boundaries. Whether a border, a wall or and a traditionally accepted behavior, behavioral limitations have no place in a radically permissive America.

I refer to my opening line in this column to describe what has been happening to the world around us.

One must understand progressivism.  The progressive movement is a tenacious attack against all things Biblical or conservative in nature.  For example, television programming just twenty years ago was dramatically less suggestive and permissive than it is now!  Utilizing a long-range plan, liberal television executives gradually desensitized viewers to sex, violence and foul language, primarily focusing on young people.  Over time, they persistently pushed the envelope and tilted their sliding scale of morality to the left.  They didn’t do it overnight, they did it “progressively”, hence their moniker.

Currently, progressives are leveraging fear to institute an ideology of “Arbitrary Rule” which empowers leftist leaders to abuse emotional shifts in society to manipulate and irradicate traditional standards. Supported by a complicit media we are witnessing the advocacy of a leftist’s cancel culture that ostracizes anyone failing to align with a new world order which despises America’s traditional belief system, afforded by the U.S. Constitution and pre-imminent to the success of our great nation.

Per the modus operandi of liberals, promoting the idea of socialism is a major part of their plan to destroy our infrastructure of entrepreneurialism.  The success of socialism is the biggest lie of the twentieth century.  It has never worked!  While it promises equality and prosperity, it always delivers poverty and tyranny.  The only equality it propagates is that everyone is equally poor!

I have a dear friend who escaped the tyranny of his nation years ago who told me, “Mark, the only people who support communism are those who have never lived under it!”  He is a great American.

I’ve studied and written about progressivism for over twenty years. I can say without hesitation liberals have sustained a disturbingly successful attack on America.

Believe me when I say COVID-19 is the best thing that ever happened to the progressive movement!  It is their gold at the end of the liberal rainbow.

Progressives are using a pandemic to manipulate Americans to willingly hand over their constitutional rights and entrepreneurial spirit so the government can “save” them from destruction and provide all their needs – as the government defines them.

And once we’ve handed them over, we will never have them again.  Liberal politicians will make “constitutional” changes to ensure patriots may never again successfully rise against tyrannical rule.  Laws will change. Rights will be trampled upon under the guise of protecting others.

Americans will have no choice, monetarily or otherwise, but to succumb to the demands of government.  It’s happening right now, before our very eyes.  And sadly, we are allowing it.

Brave men and women have died to see our Constitution live. We owe it to our past and our future to honor their gift of freedom to us. Don’t be fooled into allowing crisis to bring about destruction.

It’s time for another American Revolution, this time at the polls.

Mark Caserta: Will ignorance of history allow liberal Democrats to campaign on socialism?

Karl Marx, publisher of “The Communist Manifesto,” which introduced the concept of socialism in 1848, was quoted as saying, “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.”

Over the years, history has proven, time and again, socialism is a failing concept, one which will keep a society oppressed in poverty and depression.

But as Free State Patriot historian, Doug Smith, often says, “those ignorant of the past are destined to relive it.

Have we become so ignorant of history that we are destined to travel a path to ultimate demise?

Barack Obama laid the foundation during his reign.

The false narrative that Donald Trump is leading America down the wrong path, is the liberal argument to continue his work. And, amazingly, a growing portion of the Democrat Party, spanning 20 states, (mostly younger folks) are onboard with the premise.

Premise? For what goal?

Well, I’m glad you asked.

Phase 3 of Obama’s campaign promise to “fundamentally change America” into something unrecognizable to the free world.

How? Frankly, by waiting for enough older, more knowledgeable Americans to “die off” so they could begin strategically influencing an entire generation of naïve, younger voters that “Capitalism is bad” and “Socialism is good”.

Conspiracy theorist, you say?

In this case? Yep, absolutely. It’s called progressivism.

Understand, the progressive movement began generations ago, indoctrinating our youth, literally rewriting history, clouding their minds sufficiently to eventually morph America into a socialist society.

Senator Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist, was a young man when the crux of the movement began. U.S. Representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a doddering, young lightweight, wasn’t even a glimmer in someone’s eye.

But both are attempting to build a legacy by convincing Americans we have been on the wrong side of history for nearly 250 years.

Sanders and his ilk began decades ago. Cortez is simply operating from absolute ignorance.

But both are flirting dangerously with promoting a system that has proven to fail miserably. Beyond hating America, I can’t even begin to determine “motive”.

The capitalist government, under which we’ve prospered since our country’s inception, allows an economic and political system in which our nation’s trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state. It’s literally been the catalyst for America being the exceptional nation we’ve become.

True socialists advocate a completely classless society, where the government controls all means of production and distribution of goods. Socialist believe the government knows best and everyone should be placed on a level playing field.

In other words, no competition, no incentive to achieve excellence or better ourselves in any way. It’s literally a method of reducing America to a third-world nation.

Socialism is redistribution. For these lunatics to succeed, it would mean “taking away” from Americans “that have” and “giving” to Americans that “don’t have”.

Here are a few precepts of a socialist state, as promoted by Saul Alinsky, an American “community organizer” and writer, as listed on a conservative website, Dawgman.com:

 1) Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people

2) Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. This enables government to increase taxes, producing more poverty.

4) Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend ourselves from the government. Work toward creating a police state.

5) Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).

6) Education — Control how our children are educated.

7) Media – Control the media.

8) Religion — Remove God from government and schools.

9) Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Create an argument for taxing the rich to give to the poor.

Does any of this sound familiar? Community organizer? Government control of the people?

You bet it does! Right from the liberal playbook of the “anointed one” Barack Hussein Obama and his liberal minions.

Sadly, once again, liberal Democrats are working against America and for power over the people. It’s all about power.

In fact, every single step they take, be it, immigration, healthcare, taxes, military prowess, is toward having power over you and your life.

The only way for Capitalism to be defeated, is for Americans to allow ignorance of history to be perpetuated.

Stop the trend. Get educated. Educate your children. Learn how to debate the tenets of socialism.

And then vote accordingly.

Before I dive into my recent ponderings, I want to be perfectly clear- both are horrible ideas. Communism has led to the deaths of millions of people throughout history. That is an unforgivable offense and it is a shame that the evils of Communism are no longer taught with real importance in our schools. But that is another topic entirely.

So, obviously, Communism has a very dark past. But which is worse moving forward in the 21st century? Communism or Socialism? I say Socialism, and here’s why:

First off, Socialism today is romanticized by the youth and left. It’s looked at as all the good qualities of Communism, such as sharing of wealth for the greater good. But it is viewed as dispelling all the evil qualities of Communism, such as mass murder and starvation. That “Romanization” is akin to a sweet aroma that leads to a poisonous flower. The poisonous flower being more poverty.

Now, something that’s very important to point out before we go any further is this – There have been very few, if any, actual, truly Communist nations. Many have called themselves Communist, but few have actually achieved what is described in Marx’s writings – A society without currency, that moves forward for the greater good of all citizens.

“With collective production, money capital is completely dispensed with. The society distributes labor-power and means of production between the various branches of industry. There is no reason why the producers should not receive paper tokens permitting them to withdraw an amount corresponding to their labor time from the social consumption stocks. But these tokens are not money; they do not circulate.” – ‘Capital, Volume II’ by Karl Marx.

So, from that, we can gather, that in a truly Communist society, currency has been abolished completely. In exchange for production, you receive the goods and services you need to survive. But in a Socialist society, money is still a part of the system. It is just regulated and taxed at much higher rates.

In a Socialist society, the system is still dependent upon Capitalism to sustain itself. However, Capitalism does not flourish in a Socialist society. The cost of all the goods and services for every man, woman, and child would bankrupt the Capitalist system; thereby leaving the job creators near penniless.

One cannot create jobs in Capitalism without capital to compensate your worker. And because those with higher income are being taxed at an exponentially higher rate, that leads to two outcomes:

  1. The rich will find a way to keep their money outside the systems in America.
  2. There will be no incentive to continue working for that higher wage; considering the majority of it will not be kept by the person earning it.

In short, Socialism is not an economic system. It is a parasitic system that lives off Capitalism until it is bled dry.

The one thing that Socialism does truly accomplish in the long term is eliminate the middle class. Prime example: Venezuela.

And you’ll often hear the argument that “well, they’re not doing it right. We’ll do it right!” How naive a mindset? That in all of history, no one has done it correctly, but ‘’we’’ will be the ones to accomplish its success.

Which of the two is the greater evil moving into the future?

In my opinion, Socialism. For all its gory past, Communism, in theory, would function as an economic system. Now that doesn’t preclude it from civil unrest. But as an economic system where currency no longer exists, it can work.

But Socialism, dependent upon currency and the “fair distribution” of such, will always fail.
