Mark Caserta: Two liberal lies leading up to the election.

Liberals don’t want you to know this.

hillary and trump

Two quick important points to share:

#1: Don’t pay any attention to the polls. Liberals want you to believe “It’s all over” and Trump will lose in a landslide. All you need to do is look at what just happened in Britain and David Cameron. The polls can and are being manipulated in a variety of ways.

#2: Liberals also want you to believe Russia is behind the cyber attacks on Hillary’s illegal server because they want you to believe Russia wants Trump to win. Really? So ask yourself, “Who would Vladimir Putin rather negotiate with, Crooked Hillary or Donald Trump?

Just keep moving forward to take back our nation and ignore the crooked liberal media.

We can win this. We must win this.

And I believe we will.  Let’s take this thing to the house!

I’m not sure what sort of America, my Grandson, Elias and my new Granddaughter will have after this election.

I have the utmost confidence that they will constantly be under God’s Hand of protection and favor, but it can be a very different world if we make the wrong decision.

This election will determine if America will be the nation our founding fathers gave us or one in which we allow the progressive movement to fundamentally transform it into a nation void of principles and morality.

If Hillary wins, we will lose the Supreme Court for a generation. If for no other reason, I vote for Trump.

Here are some issues on which we must stay focused:

Voting for Clinton is a vote for abortion on demand, including partial birth abortion.
Voting for Clinton is a vote for open borders where ISIS can easily penetrate.
Voting for Clinton is a vote for ending the coal industry and higher electricity prices.
Voting for Clinton is a vote against religious freedom.
Voting for Clinton is a vote against your right to carry a gun.
Voting for Clinton is a vote for Common Core.
Voting for Clinton is a vote for expanding Obamacare so it explodes and we will all have government funded healthcare.
Voting for Clinton is a vote allowing Islamic Terrorism to expand and grow.
Voting for Clinton is a vote emboldening Iran, North Korea, China and Russia to challenge U.S. sovereignty.
Voting for Clinton is a vote against Israel.

Voting for Clinton is all this and more.

I’m voting for Trump to protect my grandchildren and thier children as well.
And for those Christians whe won’t get involved and do the right thing, you will own the results, as plain as the nose on your face, you will absolutely own the results.

STAY FOCUSED ON THE REAL ISSUES AND DO NOT BE DISTRACTED BY THINGS THAT DON’T MATTER AT THIS POINT.

Use this vote to defend our nation against the liberal enslaught against everything we stand for.

And convince others to do the same. Feel free to share the facts if you feel led to do do.

May God ultimately have control in this election. I speak defeat over election fraud and over any enemy attacks on the electoral process. And may Christians be God’s hands on earth in bringing forth His ultimate Will.
Give us wisdom where we lack it and give us the fortitude to prevail.

Amen

CLOUD

It will go down as one of the darkest moments in our nation’s history, literally 13 hours of hell on earth.

And despite liberals trying to bury this story, millions of Americans will take the facts of Benghazi and Hillary Clinton’s lies with them to the polling booths.

On Sept. 11, 2012, Islamic militants launched an organized attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. Attackers set fire to buildings and launched mortar rounds at the CIA compound, killing U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and two CIA operatives, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, former Navy Seals.

In my opinion, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are guilty of not only refusing to provide military assistance, but for attempting to cover up the details.

Outmanned and certainly outgunned, Ambassador Stevens was said to have retreated to a place security officers called a “safe area” during the first round of attacks. But apparently it was anything but safe.

Outside a crowd of angry militants gathered, banging on the fortified safety gate of the bunker-like villa. Multiple news agencies reported the complex was doused with diesel fuel and an immense fire was started, trapping Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith inside.

Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith died in this first round of attacks.

CIA timeline provided to the Washington Post and other news organizations confirms Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were attempting to defend the area from the roof of the CIA facility.

Doherty and Woods were killed in the second round of attacks, reportedly seven hours after the White House was initially notified.

According to the Select Committee on Benghazi report, no military assets were sent to Benghazi and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost eight hours after the attacks had begun.

Following the attack, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and surrogates fiercely condemned an “inflammatory” viral video multiple times for inciting the attack and even spent a reported $70,000 on television ads in Pakistan condemning it.

But the Obama administration knew these were terrorist attacks on the consulate and for several days continued to falsely blame the video. Many, including myself, believe it simply didn’t fit the Obama narrative that Osama bin Laden had been killed and Al Qaeda had been “decimated” under his watch.

Hillary Clinton’s actions as Secretary of State betray her heart when it comes to America.

MONICA 3

For you see, it wasn’t Obama’s legacy with which she was concerned, it was hers. And facts be damned when it comes to her vying for the presidency.

Hillary refused to take action to save American lives.

And actions speak so much louder than words, don’t they.

Mark Caserta: Politicians must learn to put people ahead of politics, power

Barack Obama

Last week, I asked the question, “After eight long years of Obama, are you better off?”

For anyone willing to be intellectually honest, the question was a rhetorical one. Frankly, our nation has never been in worse condition. Yet, from the bowels of the progressive prevaricators, we received a deluge of rebuttal.

Liberals leveraging their lexicon of lies continue to try to convince hurting Americans not only are they better off, but frankly should be happy the “anointed one” rode in on his golf cart in 2008 to rescue them from supervillain “Gru” W. Bush and his little red minions.

But, for those just now paying attention to the upcoming election, let’s look at the facts.

Jobs are arguably the primary indicator for our economy, and their availability is “deplorable.”

Liberal Democrats have consistently tried to mislead Americans into believing the job situation is improving when in fact it’s growing increasingly worse. The Obama administration continues to exploit bogus unemployment numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Most people don’t realize the ambiguity of the unemployment numbers. These statistics aren’t derived by actually counting unemployed individuals. They’re gathered from a survey called the Current Population Survey (CPS).

Each month, the government conducts the CPS by contacting 60,000 eligible sample households and asking about their “labor force activities” (job holding and job seeking) or non-labor force status of the household’s members. These interviews are supposedly conducted either in person or over the phone. The survey responses are then “weighted,” or adjusted to independent population estimates from the Census Bureau, for the final estimates.

The malleability of these statistics is troubling, especially leading up to this presidential election!

And the current unemployment rate of 4.9 percent is inaccurate since it drops from the equation those who are currently neither working nor looking for work. The U-6 total unemployed number reported by the BLS is actually 9.7 percent. But I believe it’s much higher.

Even this number doesn’t account for individuals driven from their 40-hour work week by Obamacare’s employer mandate and are working multiple jobs to survive.

Furthermore, our nation’s labor force participation rate, at 62.8 percent, is at a 38-year low with a record 94.7 million Americans out of the labor force, according to the BLS.

In December 2008, before the coronation of Barack Hussein Obama, the number was 65.8 percent.

It gets worse.

The real median household income for the United States has decreased from $57,211 in 2008 to $53,657 in 2014. And with soaring prices, even this number isn’t comparing apples to apples.

Tragically, nearly 45 million people are now participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program compared to 30 million pre-Obama, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Even so, liberal Democrats tell us we’re better off.

We need honest leaders, with business acumen, who know how to create good-paying jobs.

But they must first be willing to put people ahead of politics and power.

lie 2

The Obama administration has been at our nation’s helm for nearly eight years. So, are you any better off after two presidential terms of liberal policies?

Well, Barack Obama says you are.

In his speech at the recent Democrat convention in Philadelphia, the president spoke of his efforts to end the war in Iraq and bring justice to those who would terrorize the American people.

“We brought more of our troops home to their families, and we delivered justice to Osama bin Laden,” the president said before supporters. He went on to suggest that “through diplomacy,” he was able to shut down Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Yet, as reported by many news publications, including the New York Times, the United States has re-deployed as many as 560 more troops to Iraq to help retake Mosul from ISIS. I believe this is only the beginning of a much-needed surge to retake areas lost due to Obama’s telegraphed exit of Iraq.

And as far as Osama bin Laden’s death, do you feel any safer?

FBI Director James Comey has repeatedly told Americans he has over a thousand “ISIS related” investigations ongoing in all 50 states. And we recently saw what I believe was a “test run” of coordinated attacks on the U.S. with the bombings in New York and New Jersey and the recent stabbing spree in a Minnesota mall.

Does anyone really believe the timeline of these attacks was simply coincidence? We must prepare for them on a larger scale.

And the president’s negotiations with Iran have far from “shut down” Iran’s nuclear program.

Not only has Obama helped fund Iran’s nuclear armament, his timid approach has emboldened Iranian leaders to “thumb their noses” at the U.S. and test launch nuclear-capable missiles in defiance of a United Nation Security Council resolution, as reported in a March 2016 column in Reuters.

In his speech, Obama also told Americans, “By many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we started.”

This president has a unique interpretation of success. Take Obamacare for example.

But as we’ve seen, Obamacare is collapsing beneath its own weight of false promises and impotent planning.

As reported in a Heritage Foundation column written by Edmund F. Haislmaier, senior research fellow for the Health Policy Studies Center, Affordable Care Act Exchange participation by insurers continues to decline. He writes there are now 287 exchange-participating insurers, compared with 307 in 2015. Major insurers like Aetna and UnitedHealth Group have already made plans to abandon the president’s failing initiative.

And premiums have gone through the roof for many fortunate enough to still have coverage!

Progressive policies have caused the U.S. to decline in nearly every single metric. And we are surely no better off under liberal rule.

Hillary Clinton brings the exact same package to the presidency – only worse.

Mark Caserta: The ‘alt right’ is a bold, necessary alternative

24 Sep

me

Mark Caserta: Free State Patriot Editor

  • Sep 23, 2016

Progressives often react quickly and vehemently to anyone who dares oppose their theorem of migratorial morality and malleable principles. Empowered by the voice of the liberal media, they rally beneath the umbrella of tolerance and behind the shield of bigotry.

And frankly, “establishment Republicans” are equally repugnant. They’re quick to attack anyone who challenges the GOP “status quo” and threatens to unseat politicians who make promises to their constituency but lack the fortitude to stand for principle and deliver on their word.

I submit that most liberal Democrats and establishment Republicans are less concerned with the rule of law, the Constitution or the sovereignty of our nation as they are with maintaining leverage and power to sustain their ideology.

But in the words of one of our greatest American presidents, Ronald Reagan, “Freedom is the right to question and change the established way of doing things.”

Many Americans are doing exactly that.

Rising from disdain for our current political system is a rebellion progressives have labeled the “alt right.” But few really understand the implications or conviction of this movement that is being attacked by Democrats and Republicans alike.

Liberals denounce members of the rebellion as being the dregs of society: anti-Semites, white supremacists, homophobes and Islamophobes bent on cleansing America of anyone refusing to submit to the principles they espouse.

Establishment Republicans, desperate to avoid charges of bigotry, succumb to these assertions and add their own vitriolic “pseudo conservative” allegations. They are, in fact, helping to open the door of speculation and adding to the liberal charges of malicious intent by this group.

Allow me to cut through the spin and explain the so-called alt right.

First, members of either establishment, liberal or conservative, have traditionally won by limiting your choices. Their claim of “inclusiveness” is hyperbole extended only to individuals willing to adhere to their “members only” rules.

Progressives vigorously cast their liberal net over every potential demographic (excluding conservative Christians) and forego any solution which doesn’t cater a buffet of votes for the electoral banquet. Their claims of bigotry from the alt right are not only unfounded, they ironically reek of progressive Democrat intolerance.

The feckless GOP establishment has been backed into a corner of vulnerability where they’re easily portrayed as desirous of winning elections through exclusion. They’ve lied so often that they’ve critically compromised their base and forced many to abandon the Republican Party.

The alt right represents a segment of constitutional, Reagan conservatives who realize we’ve arrived at a political impasse where the needs of the American people have become inconsequential in the political theater. And they’re open to a paradigm shift in politics which once again puts Americans first.

The alt right believes our nation will never return to greatness under liberal Democrats or establishment Republicans. They support a movement which honors the Constitution, protects the Supreme Court and supports our nation’s sovereignty.

Most Americans agree our nation’s government is mired with incompetence and languishing in impotence. And we’ve exhausted our choices.

It’s time for a bold, new alternative.

Mark Caserta: Columnist gets to spend time with an American hero

9.16.16

Americans love extolling our heroes, but it isn’t often you actually get to meet one. Recently I was blessed to share some time with one of our nation’s most esteemed living patriots – Joseph Whitt.

Joe was aboard the U.S.S. San Francisco during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, and is currently one of four remaining survivors.

Joe is truly representative of the “Greatest Generation” our country has ever produced.

As I sat across the table from Joe and his lovely wife, Judith, in a restaurant near Bethel, Ohio, where they reside, I couldn’t help but politely ask questions about his experience.

I listened intently as Joe attempted to describe the indescribable.

“I saw the Arizona blow up,” Joe said, speaking of the U.S.S. Arizona, the most heavily damaged of all the vessels in what was called “Battleship Row.” He labored to describe the chaos of that day and his fallen crew mates.

The assault, which lasted nearly two hours, claimed the lives of more than 2,400 people and destroyed nearly 20 American ships and at least 300 airplanes.

At the age of 92, Joe understandably has some difficulty recalling the intimate details of his experience. I was touched by the way Judy (some years younger) would, at times, lovingly step in to finish a portion of Joe’s story. It became particularly difficult when he shared his ghastly recollection of the sharks that rapidly infested the waters to feast upon the ensuing carnage.

We cried.

My heart swelled with love, admiration and appreciation for Joe and Judy as they painted a haunting picture of Joe’s tumultuous experience.

One might think increasing apathy from some would callous the heart of an individual who gave so freely to his country, but Joe’s humility and entrenched love for America guide his path. My heart ached for this man obviously encumbered by a horrific memory that would never, ever go away.

Joe never mentioned it, but I learned he earned 17 battle stars in World War II and has been the recipient of multiple honors throughout the years. But he’ll never receive just recompense.

Joe Whitt represents an iconic America that’s rapidly slipping away.

After talking with Joe and Judy, I have a renewed respect for those who’ve given their very best to purchase the freedoms we enjoy in this great country.

But amid this patriotic swell, I’ve also acquired a refurbished disdain for those who take this sacrifice for granted and mock our flag.

Words are darn cheap – cheaper than ever. And we’re getting loads of dung-ridden verbiage shoveled at us every day.

But the bravery of men and women like Joseph Whitt made America great.

It’s now up to us to keep it going.

God bless you, Joe and Judy.

Mark Caserta: Libertarian candidate has merit, but he’s no conservative

Only 10 presidents in history have won the presidential election with less than 50 percent of the popular vote. But it will likely be 11 very soon.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are currently among the “worst-rated presidential candidates of the last seven decades” with “highly unfavorable” ratings of 33 and 42 percent respectively, according to Gallup’s long-term “scalometer” polling trend.

The most memorable president in my lifetime winning with less than 50 percent would be Bill Clinton in the 1992 presidential election in which many (including myself) believe third-party candidate H. Ross Perot became the “spoiler” of the election for George H.W. Bush by garnering 18.9 percent of the popular vote as an Independent.

Now, during that particular election, the Libertarian candidate, Andre Marrou, received only .28 percent of the popular vote. But the times, they are a changin’ and so are the attitudes of the American people.

Disdain for our top two presidential candidates has given rise to Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, who is blossoming in his third-party candidacy.

Johnson, the former two-term Republican governor of New Mexico, has been consistently rising in the polls. An NBC News “political profile” lists Johnson as a “libertarian-minded conservative” who has been active in libertarian causes, including marijuana legalization, since leaving office.

Interestingly, Johnson’s platform does have some good components. I like the “pre-amble” I pulled directly from the Libertarian platform website.

“As Libertarians, we seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her values for the benefit of others.”

It goes on to say Libertarians “believe that respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world … and those individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways” without government interference or any authoritarian power.

But while portions of the platform are plausible, in reality, Libertarian aspirations are currently somewhere over the rainbow.

Under the “Statement of Principles” section on the party’s platform website, there are a couple of elements that don’t align with Christian conservative values.

Article 1.5 “Abortion,” states that Libertarians recognize abortion as a sensitive issue and that people can hold “good faith views” on all sides. “We believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.”

Well, conservatives believe abortion is murder – period. And it should be illegal. Leaving this matter up to the individual is pro-choice, pure and simple.

Article 1.7, “Crime and Justice,” states that libertarians “favor the repeal of all laws creating ‘crimes’ without victims, such as the use of drugs for medicinal or ‘recreational’ purposes.”

Conservatives believe that the use of illegal drugs in our society is “not” a victimless crime and results in the destruction of lives, family and society every single day.

Conservatives will not “progressively” compromise these principles. We plan to use this election to defend the Constitution and the Supreme Court.

That leaves a single candidate – Donald Trump.
