Progressives are very frightened this election cycle – and with good reason.
Historically, liberal Democrat campaigns (not “democratic, please) have been built around slogans such as “Change we can believe in,”or “Fundamental transformation” or “Forward” as Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign espoused.
Progressives would have you believe these campaign slogans dealt with issues such as healthcare reform, voting rights, economic equality, and social justice, among other issues. But in reality, these slogans reflect the liberal progressive march to eliminating any semblance of morality or standards heretofore associated with Christianity and our forefather’s vision for our nation.
The goal is and has always been to tenaciously desensitize Americans to the gradual increase in temperature around us, so we don’t leap like the proverbial frog from the boiling pot of water.
This progressive advance includes a move past capitalism and into a socialist society where the government has complete and absolute control over our lives.
But during this week’s Democrat National Convention, the slogan, “We won’t go back” was used by speakers several times, in lieu of their traditional view forward.
Believe me when I tell you they are not referencing socio-economic advancement for the American people! They are, in fact, referencing their fear of losing their ill-gotten power and influence to conservative principled leaders and having the government returned to “We the people”.
Anyone doing their due diligence of fact-checking speeches from the DNC convention, including from the faux Democrat presidential nominee, will very quickly learn it was inundated with lies and deceitful statements to potential voters. The lack of substance regarding accomplishments from the past 3 ½ years was very telling.
Of course, it would be the epitome of hypocrisy for this administration to promise resolution of issues on day one, which they created!
Folks, there is a reason, Kamala Harris is being sequestered in the basement of the White House. Liberal progressives are not stupid. But they believe YOU ARE. They realize that if conservatives are successful at exposing her and her VP choice for whom they really are, they lose.
The strategy worked for Joe Biden, and they are betting it will work for Harris.
Understand, this strategy is supplemental to the liberal, multi-level “ballot harvesting” which helped secure the last election and our demise as a nation.
But amid all the smoke and mirrors, if one looks closely, you will see a dark state trembling at the thought of losing, once again, to Donald J. Trump. Frankly, these snowflakes still have PTSD over their loss to President Trump in 2016. It was at that point the planning began to do anything possible to remove him from office and keep him from ever returning – no matter what it took, legal or otherwise.
But fear is a tremendous motivator for the left. They will stop at nothing to win this election. Conservatives must take advantage of this moment to be even more motivated by their fear.
If Harris wins this election, it is no holds barred. The Supreme Court will be fundamentally transformed. Our Republic will be unrecognizable. The future of our children will be dark. And the American dream will be unreachable.
Yes, it is that serious. Please, please do your homework and vote your faith.
Trust me when I say this will be our last chance. If we lose, conservatives may never win another election.
The choice isn’t just between two candidates. It’s far more.
We are truly at a crossroad in history. The 2024 Presidential Election is not simply a choice between two candidates. It’s a choice between free market Capitalism or government sanctioned Socialism. There was a time in history when political candidates attempted to hide their socialist tendencies, but now they’ve created an environment in which they can run campaigns on them.
I began exposing the progressive movement 25 years ago with a column on a theory which weaponizes the economy known as, “The Cloward-Piven Strategy”. It has now come to fruition.
The Cloward-Piven strategy is a political theory developed by sociologists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven in the late 1960s. Its deployment calls for creating chaos in the welfare system to overwhelm it, enabling the government to act toward fundamentally transforming society. The strategy involves capturing as many people as possible in the “government safety net” of provision for their needs.
You may ask what this strategy provides those who employed it. This ideology, along with every single other progressive ideology imposed upon the citizens of the United States is simply designed to keep liberal politicians in power. It’s that simple. It’s all about buying a vote.
Illegal immigration, Abortion rights, high prices and economic catastrophe, and the feigned support of every single so-called protected class in America (aside from Christians) are all designed to create a viable, sustainable voter base – period.
Yes, liberals will love and hug on you all day until you step out of the progressive line and challenge their dangerous agenda. At that point, they will stop at nothing to discredit and destroy you. Ask Elon Musk.
Understand, liberals do not care for you, nor do they love America. Look around you.
Mothers are walking the aisles of the grocery stores trying to figure out how they are going to afford to feed their family. Parents are having to make the decision between eating or paying their bills. The price of bacon, for example, has increased by five times the cost 3 ½ years ago, per a CNN online column.
Yes, liberal politicians leveraged a pandemic to force businesses into raising wages. It was the only way they could make it happen. Believe me when I tell you they knew what would happen.
Service employees may be making more now than ever, but the result is prices have risen at a far higher rate! The cost of fuel and transport fees have forced manufacturers to raise their prices, so in turn, the price of goods and services have increased. Service employees may be making more money, but it’s paying for less than ever!
And liberal politicians like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris could not care less. They are above the economic impact “hard deck”. Aviators know this term. Below the hard deck, you are considered dead.
To further exacerbate the situation, the liberal left has been successful in harvesting amazing numbers of ballots from their contrived voter base. They’ve also been successful at developing software that “hacks” into voting machines. One way is to simply add fake voters. This is how many suspect Joe Biden earned over 80 million votes in 2020. This was by far, more votes cast for any presidential candidate in U.S. history.
And he earned them all from his basement. Go figure.
Another way it is suspected liberals molded the 2020 election outcome was to hack into the voting machines and delegitimize opposition voters.
These techniques, along with other methods of illegal ballot harvesting, handed the 2020 Presidential election over to the current administration.
I don’t care to admit, that I’m very concerned over the election in November. In my gut, I know how most Americans feel about how things are going. It’s obvious that things have never been more upside down. Bad is good and good is bad. Kamala calls it, “What can be, unburdened by what has been.”
I propose two tactics to prevent this injustice from ever happening again. It can be done.
First, per a 2023 Gallup poll, 63% of the U.S. population, or 210 million people identify as Christian. If one-third of them vote – we win.
Second, pray. The Bible says, “…If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
If two can accomplish this by fervent prayer, what can a million do!
Take a moment and pray this prayer. Then pass this on to someone else.
“Father, we humble ourselves before you and seek your Divine wisdom and favor. We ask for your omnipotent intervention in the state of our union and our electoral system. We ask that you protect our electoral process and keep it fair and just. We pray a hedge of protection around every device and human intent for a fair and equitable outcome for all our elections and that Your Will be done. We pray that no weapon formed against our Republic would prosper. Give us wisdom to make the right choice and diligence to do so when called upon. We give you all the Glory and Honor for protecting and prospering the people of our great nation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!
I’m more than confident, if we do these two things, as believers, we can win back our nation.

Our nation is at a troublesome crossroads. You must choose the path for the future.
There has never been a time in our nation’s history when there has been any clearer distinction between good and evil. The domestic unrest in our cities transcends politics. Although the political pulpit, along with the incessant news cycle arguably help fuel the violence and spark emotion, the root cause is much more sinister and heinous with the sole intent of stealing, killing, and destroying all that is good and perfect among us.
News media has abandoned the true journalistic mission of “informing” people of factual content in lieu of “influencing” them as to how they should feel about content, factual or otherwise. The liberal media of our times will never allow truth to stand in the way of a good story or an opportunity to strike an emotional hotspot to garner support for their cause.
Understand, “progress” and “progressivism” are not one in the same! Progress in society, in terms of medical advances, scientific learnings and new and innovative ways of living life is wonderful and should be embraced by all. But a progressive ideology is something entirely different.
Progressivism is a liberal methodology. It is a gradual diminishing of heretofore agreed upon standards of ethics and principles by which to live, allowing a new matrix of morality void of any moral compass.
Understand, we didn’t see audacious behavior rise around us overnight. It was accomplished by a tenacious, consistent “desensitizing” of society, frankly, beginning in the classroom. While we have some wonderful, caring teachers in many classrooms, we also have some incredibly evil leadership willing to compromise and mold a child’s mind to accept concepts and ideas that would never have been acceptable otherwise.
In what world would be ever have considered allowing a man to compete in a women’s sport by simply having surgery to remove his genitalia. The physiology and genealogy remain that of a man but is allowed to compete against a woman simply because they no longer identify as a man.
It if fully the right of any individual to live their life as they choose. That is God given and a constitutionally supported right. But that right to choose must not adversely impact the rights of others.
Here’s the point. We didn’t get here overnight. Years ago, liberals began removing any semblance of steadfast rules by which to live our lives. Regardless of you accepting it or not, God’s Word has been the foundation for the growth and development of all mankind. Simply disagreeing with this precept is your choice, but a very wrong one.
So, the very first objective of the progressive movement had to be to remove the Bible from the classroom! They did this by inaccurately leveraging the 1st amendment to the Constitution or the establishment clause, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Historically, the most mis-interpreted portion of our constitution and has been the foundation of the decision to keep all things having to do with Christianity, to include the Bible, out of our classrooms.
Removing the parameters of God’s Word from the classroom allowed the infusion of materials under the guise of being “open-minded” to progress in society and varying individual’s convictions. In fact, moral convictions began to take on an entirely different appearance and tenacity in varying aspects of the world in which we live.
Again, we all have the right to choose how we live. No disagreement there. That is a God-given right. We do not have the right to infringe upon the rights of others. Unfortunately, the liberal stance is that if someone doesn’t fully support their cause or passion it means they are not inclusive and must have hate in their heart toward them.
That’s simply an intellectually dishonest view. We can love people and accept them without supporting the advancement or promotion of their cause or allowing them to suppress my right to the very same acceptance.
But liberal progressives have made this an emotional battle. They’ve weaponized media, politics and even religion and created an environment so volatile that our greatest threat is no longer foreign – it is the enemy within.
Now, you may be sitting on the sidelines, resolute to the fact that you can’t change it. And you may not have the bully pulpit to enact change to a high degree. But you can certainly impact your circle. You influence those around you every single day.
How are you choosing to use that influence? Are you choosing to model apathy to the evil around you or are you displaying empathy and ministering to others and influencing positive change?
The choice has never been clearer. The left has embraced the antithesis of all things which have made the United States a sovereign, prosperous nation, respected and revered by the world. The believe the government knows best and will do anything to always wield the power to control your life. They believe they have the right to take the money that you worked hard to earn and share it with those who have not earned it at all. They believe they should have the power to “make” all men equal. They will distribute success. And in return for their handouts, all they ask is for your vote to keep them in power.
Conservatives promulgate a love of country and all our Founding Fathers envisioned for America. They believe we live in a Republic; a government ran by the people through elected officials who represent their best interests. They believe the people know best and should have the power and ability to work hard and build a prosperous life. They believe equality stems from everyone having the same opportunities in our country to earn the American dream rather than having it handed to them in return for a vote. They believe God “created” all men equal. They must earn success. All they ask is that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
The mission is clear. The choice is yours. Do you stand for freedom and Democracy? Or do you stand with the government controlling your life and the lives of your children and grandchildren?
Make your mark in history by voting in November.

Stop calling them the “Democratic Party”!
I wrote about this several years ago, but it never has taken root.
Do not refer to the Democrats as the “Democratic Party!”
Using the adjective “democratic” to describe the type of party the liberal left has become is an improper use of the descriptive term.
Democracy left progressives years ago. They are not the same party once led by JFK. There are something entirely, grossly, different. Frankly, something despicable.
Citizens of these United States live in a so-called democratic society, which describes an entity led by the majority of its members.
This is not entirely accurate in that a true democracy could be described as “mob rule”.
Mob rule in no shape or form suggests a people led by the rule of law. It more accurately describes the will of the masses, no matter the nobility or legality of the cause.
We are more accurately described as living in a Republic.
A Republic is a government in which the supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives.
Now, the key word here is “represented”! Sadly, that word has fallen from the political dictionary in many cases.
The will of the people should be a politician’s sole marching orders!
Understand that when we do not exercise our right to choose our representatives through the electoral process, we are abdicating that right to those who may or may not represent your belief system!
And don’t complain about what you permit! Voter turnout in our nation is embarrassingly low. We should be ashamed. In other nations, people risk their lives to exercise this right.
When you do not vote, you do not support the Republic – period.
The take-a-way of this commentary is that we should call the liberal left the “Democrat Party”.
It, then, becomes a simple moniker for a group of individuals who no longer love their country, United States Constitution, or the rule of law. They simply crave power and control, regardless of the will of their constituents.
So the next time you hear, someone refer to the progressives as the Democratic Party, feel free to correct them and tell them why.
And also make sure you model the example of patriotism by voting to keep our Republic alive and well.

We nearly had to take out a loan to purchase this chuck roast I’m preparing to put on the oven. I know prices tend to rise, but this is out of control.
We live in a Republic, which means we are supposed to have representatives who represent the will of the people. Many people don’t know what that looks like. Many politicians don’t care – as long as they remain in power.
There are still good people out there who want to do the right thing as our representatives. Find out who they are and vote for them. If you don’t vote, don’t complain about what you permit.
Families are hurting. People are wandering grocery store aisles looking at items on the shelves they can no longer afford. It’s truly heartbreaking if you understand what’s happening in government.
There are those who will swear government isn’t the problem. Well, to a point they’re right. The people who sit on the sidelines and allow progressive liberals to control their lives are the problem!
The government should not control the people. People should control the government. It’s time, no, it’s past time that we re-engage and take back our lives and the futures of our children and grandchildren.
Corrupt politicians believe we are defeated. They believe they’ve beaten us down and taken away our spirit to fight. They want everyone subservient to their governing hypocrisy. They are relentless in their ideology to dominate, not serve their constituents.
Are we beaten? Is this the way we want it? Is this the environment we want for our children?
It starts with a single, persistent voice in the wilderness. It begins with you and me. Being angry isn’t enough. Put some action behind that anger.
