Here is what really happened on Friday with the Trump, Vance spat with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Under no circumstances would a VP sitting next to the most powerful man in the world, be empowered to derail a $500 Billion deal in front of the world, without prior discussion with President Trump – period.
President Trump knew that Zelensky wanted to get a commitment from the U.S. for ongoing security following the deal of a ceasefire from prior conversations. He also knew that Zelensky was going to mandate that request as part of the rare earth deal in front of the media.
President Trump is a deal maker. He does deals, and he is the very best. Right now his job is to make deals for America.
President Trump wants Europe to own the security of Ukraine. It’s in their back yard and best jnterest.
He doesn’t want America to be the “world police”, especially an ocean away!
The president’s rare earth mineral deal is designed to reimburse the U.S. for our financial support as well as establish a visible partnership with Ukraine for the world to see – one which will benefit the U.S. for years to come.
He will not agree to commit US security support for Ukraine, for years to come, as part of the deal, hence the negotiation tactic employed on Friday.
So, in front of the world, as as part of a tactic to negotiate peace, Zelensky was put on his heels and any perceived negotiating power revoked. His own people and other nations are now pressuring him to make peace with President Trump.
It was agreed that when the opportunity presented itself, the Trump/Vance team would kick in!
Of course, President Trump will make him sweat a while to soften him even further. He knows the right time to reengage.
And now, our president is back in the driver’s seat. He will achieve an end to the war. He will complete the rare earth deal. And Europe will pick up securing Ukraine in the future.
All this will happen very soon.
Additionally, Russia and the world will think twice about trying to outmaneuver our president.
Liberal Democrats are exposing themselves for what and for whom they really care, despite a clear message from the majority of Americans that they wanted a dramatic change in the political landscape.
Recent protests calling for the removal of DOGE lead, Elon Musk, illuminate their ignorance of his service to America.
These avant-garde groups of liberal individuals feigning concern about the adherence to the Constitution of the United States are far more concerned about losing their progressive agendas, entitlements and power.
The intellectual dishonesty is maddening. The idea that liberals have all of a sudden become “defenders” of the constitution is the epitome of hypocrisy. They leverage it when it can be skewed to support their sliding scale of morality and spew it when it doesn’t.
Just a tiny bit of diligent research into the life of Elon Musk shows that Democrats are, once again, on the wrong side of the issues where the American people are concerned.
Elon Musk’s company “Neuralink” is testing a “Blindsight” device — a wireless Brain Computer Interface designed to help the blind to see and the paralyzed to walk.
The surgery to implant the device is the first time a robot has been used to implant flexible electrode threads into a human brain to record neural activity and control devices. And those threads may record from more neurons than other interfaces.
Musk and his SpaceX company are providing free Starlink internet service for hurricane victims in North Carolina saving dozens of lives – at no charge. The service made communication with the outside world possible, even in hard-hit isolated areas which had spotty communication even before the storm.
Elon purchased Twitter for $64 billion solely to help protect your free speech. The social media entity was propagating mostly liberal ideology while suppressing conservatives. They even banned President Trump.
Musk and his SpaceX team are developing a missile defense system that will protect Americans from intercontinental missile attacks. Naysayers are declaring it isn’t possible. How many times have we heard that throughout history. My money is on Elon.
This week the world witnessed Elon rescue astronauts from the Space station using his Space/X technology. The astronauts had been abandoned since June of 2023. In coordination with the Trump administration, SpaceX switched capsules for upcoming astronaut flights in order to bring Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams home to their families. The mission was supposed to take eight to ten days, but helium leaks in the capsule’s propulsion system thwarted plans to return to earth. President Biden turned down Elon’s first offer to bring the team home. It took real leadership to make it happen!
At the same time all of this is happening, Elon Musk is working for no pay, identifying waste, fraud and abuse OF YOUR TAX DOLLARS, which will be felt not only by us but by our children!
In just a few weeks, Elon Musk and his team of brilliant, young minds have identified nearly $1 trillion of your tax money being squandered – by people you elected to represent you!
President Trump is also working for the American people for no pay! Would you do that?
Elon is a caring, competent individual who is investing his entire life in helping others through his advanced technology acumen.
Heaven forbid, you or a loved one would need to benefit from Elon Musk’s technology for their quality of life – or even life itself!
Maybe it isn’t Elon who needs to go – perhaps it’s you and your self-centered ideology. The fact that you hate Elon Musk and President Trump more than you love your country is very telling as to your priorities in life.
On top of it all, the very people who were ready to mandate electric vehicles are now burning them.
I suppose global warming was a myth after all.
I suggest you take a moment and lower your defense mechanisms and open your eyes to what’s really happening around you. Perhaps it will help you become a solution to the problem rather than part of it.
May God open the eyes and soften the hearts of those obviously blinded by hate.
We should never be willing to see America lose, just to see our President fail.

The “purge” has begun.
Early in Donald J. Trump’s campaign he made it clear that Washington, D.C. was indeed a decaying “swamp” filled with nefarious creatures slithering about seeking whom they may devour.
President Trump’s first term in 2016 surprised, angered and even frightened liberal Democrats. And frankly they’ve never recovered and still suffer from aggravated Trump Derangement Syndrome.
While his initial tenure in the White House was inundated with learning curves, his impact as a leader was enough to convince the left, he had to be stopped – at all costs – even if it meant destroying America.
The end-result, following a scarred 2020 presidential re-election bid for President Trump, asked us to believe sleepy Joe Biden garnered 81 million votes from his basement, while never venturing into the public view or answering even softball questions from his loving liberal media.
In fact, “weekend at Bernie’s” Joe received more votes than any president in history, to include his former boss, Barack Hussein Obama.
President Trump, on the other hand, all the while earning over 74 million votes, 12 million more than in 2016, lost in the extremely controversial (some say rigged) election.
The subsequent four years of Biden/Harris will go down in history as the single, largest failing liberal experiment in our nation’s history. The trail of devastation as a result of inept policies, prompted voters in every single state to move to the right and vote for a true leader capable of saving our nation and its inhabitants from demise – before it was too late.
Liberal Democrats, true to form and perhaps looking into their progressive crystal ball, kept the attacks alive on Donald Trump. They attacked him personally and professionally. They conjured up delusional spells of denigration and libel and rallied liberal legal loons to perpetuate lawsuits and illegalities against the president and even his family. Democrats and a complicit Biden/Harris administration did everything in their villainous playbook to prevent Trump from ever setting foot on the political stage again.
Donald J. Trump returning to the White House would be their worst nightmare!
They leveraged and weaponized every form of government to take down Donald J. Trump, hoping to break him and return him to his very comfortable lifestyle, out of politics and out of their hair.
But the perseverance of Trump and his family was nothing short of amazing. He stood his ground and when exhausted, leaned on principle.
But ultimately, when the ground is trembling and the lava is pouring down the side of the volcano, it’s impossible to tell the people to stay calm, “there’s nothing to see here.” But that’s all they could do!
Everything, I mean everything was failing – miserably. There deepest attacks seemed to result in more support for Trump!
It’s true, typically people don’t react until it impacts them directly. But thanks to “Bidenomics” and lamentable leadership, every U.S. citizen was feeling the impact of liberal, woke policies lacking common sense and serving everyone but Americans.
Then, Democrat’s worst nightmare became a reality!
In the largest, single political comeback in our nation’s history, Donald Trump was returned to the White House in resounding fashion! Eager to hit the ground running on the behalf of all Americans, he had his cabinet primed and picked to move rapidly and efficiently. Patriots agree it’s beginning as one of the most lucrative, successful presidencies of all time, with no holds barred in keeping with Trump’s mantra of “America first”.
It was time for a major change. And Americans voted for just that! They sent a clear mandate to Washington that they’d had enough. Donald J. Trump had overwhelmingly won 76 million popular votes, 312 Electoral College votes, all 7 swing states and an increased number of Democrat votes in every single state in the union.
The mission and directive were clear. The people of our republic were demanding change and empowering a new leader, a true leader to take charge and make America great again.
So, just 2 weeks into the swearing in of President Trump as the 47th President of the United States, the purge of the Washington swamp has begun, with a vengeance. And despite the whining and complaining from the left, there are no surprises here. Trump is doing exactly, EVERYTHING, he said he would do.
This time around, there is no time needed for a learning curve. Impact is immediate and decisive!
And he’s doing it so fast, by the time Democrats rally to have a news conference to denounce his actions, President Trump has completed three more deals for the American people.
Liberals are losing their minds over Trump winning for America. How truly sad and telling is that?
Get ready, America! This is just the beginning. This administration is not going to slow down. Internationally, our allies will trust us. Our enemies will fear us. American’s will once again be proud of their country and our leadership. Politicians will be forced into representing their constituents and living up to their promises.
It’s a new day and a new age. If liberals choose to remain oblivious to the wishes of the people, they are going to be sad for a very, very long time.
Are you viewed as a potentially “profitable” patient by major pharmaceuticals?
When I’m home and not traveling, my wife and I usually try to get caught up on the news or watch a little television before bedtime. Inevitably, our programming is inundated with dozens of pharmaceutical ads. Over the past few years, I’ve just resigned myself to the belief that we (mostly me) were simply a targeted audience for this type of marketing.
Additionally, given the minimally informative content of the ads, I surmised that the intent of the ads was to prompt patients to inquire about these medications and the impact on their health with their physicians, potentially providing another treatment option. And I’m sure that is still an accurate assessment, in part.
But as I watched the Senate confirmation hearing of Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) as Secretary of Health and Human Services, the vehement attacks from the liberal Democrats were very telling.
I was amazed and frankly bewildered at the idea Democrats could not align with RFK’s goals of ending chronic disease, restoring the nation’s farmland, protecting the environment, curbing corporate power and holding pharmaceutical companies accountable for transparency.
And it wasn’t just the Democrat senators raising their voices and complaints with Mr. Kennedy, the mainstream media was subsequently complicit in the attacks, both on television and online.
Why?
The health and condition of Americans has never been worse. As JFK often cites, many of the ingredients used in our foods are not permitted in European countries. Issues such as diabetes, autism and other chronic diseases are much more prevalent now than when many of us were younger. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the U.S. obesity rate have tripled over the last 60 years.
“…We have the sickest children in the world,” Mr. Kennedy said on Fox & Friends. “When I was a kid, the autism rate among American children…was 1 in 10,000.” Today, it’s 1 in every 34 kids.
Despite the shocking statistics, Democrats and the media rebuke JFK at every turn, leveraging excuses and making accusations that are clearly not made in the interest of American’s health.
Why?
In 2024, pharmaceutical companies spent over $3.4 billion dollars on television ads, an 8.1% increase from the previous year. Three out of the top five spenders on TV advertising were pharmaceutical companies, per online Visual Capitalist.
The same year, per multiple news outlets, Democrat representatives on Capitol Hill received $26.4 million from pharmaceutical and health product companies, while Republicans received $16.1 million from pharmaceutical lobbyists.
Once again, why are pharmaceutical companies investing so much in media and lawmakers? It seems to me that money would be better spent on research.
But the return on investment simply doesn’t compare.
Per the Food & Drug administration, nearly 20 percent of our nation’s economy is healthcare. It is a tremendously lucrative business that is growing in leaps and bounds – sadly, commensurate to the declining health of Americans. Regarding everything from weight loss to mental clarity, we’ve been programmed to “look for the next pill” to cure our ailments, when in fact a healthier diet and exercise is the real, long-term solution for our nation.
With all due love and respect I have for the wonderful healthcare providers and individuals working diligently to keep people healthy, there does appear to be a strategy overhead to keep Americans unhealthy and reliant upon medications to promulgate a profit.
But our nation’s success is contingent upon our health. It’s been said that a healthy person has a thousand dreams, while an unhealthy person has only one.
I encourage us to look beyond the money and into real solutions for our health, our children’s health and ultimately the health of our nation. This begins by looking for real health solutions within our own households.
The rate of health decline in our country can be turned around, but it’s going to each of us to do our part. Read labels. Make better meal choices. Be more physically active. Feed our families better, both physically and spiritually.
I believe many of our nation’s problems will diminish significantly.

President Trump referred to it as “Liberation Day”. Name aside, it’s an historic day for our nation!
In response to the question following the Constitutional Convention, Ben Franklin responded to the question as to whether we now have a republic or a monarchy. “A republic, if you can keep it”, was his response.
Do not sit back a get comfortable, now that we have true leadership. “We the people” must work to keep our republic by staying informed and engaged.
This isn’t the end of progressivism. It’s the beginning of a potential return to Christian values.
Not to mention how he is handing Donald Trump a nation better off than when he took office
Recently, President Joe Biden took to the podium in an attempt to “recap” his foreign policy achievements for the nation.
I want to caution everyone of a tactic departing politicians often leverage in which they fill out their own “political scorecard” for the liberal media to banty about and use as historical fact moving forward. Most of the time the actual truth lies somewhere between the bookends of the “true/false” spectrum.
But Joe Biden is absolutely delusional in his characterization of his accomplishments as the 46th president of the United States.
Biden sought to frame his presidency as a transformational one, claiming he was handing off a nation better positioned to compete in a new era to President-elect Trump, than the one he inherited from Trump four years ago.
“New challenges will certainly emerge in the months and years ahead, but even so, it’s clear my administration is leaving the next administration with a very strong hand to play, and we’re leaving them and America more friends, stronger alliances. These adversaries are weaker and under pressure. An America that once again is leading, uniting countries, setting the agenda, bringing others together behind our plans and missions,” Biden said in remarks at the State Department.
“The United States is winning the worldwide competition compared to four years ago. America is stronger. Our alliances are stronger, our adversaries and competitors are weaker.”
Mr. President, frankly, I’ve never heard such intellectually, dishonest rhetoric in all of my years following politics.
I pen this particular column primarily to benchmark the status of our country in several areas. Anyone paying attention and willing to be objectively analytical must agree Joe Biden is “absolutely NOT” leaving the United States in better condition than when he took office.
Joe Biden spent the first half of his presidency enacting plans to steer at least $1.6 trillion to transform the economy and spur a clean-energy revolution which is failing miserably and costing taxpayers money during a time is isn’t easily accessible.
Utility bills have never been higher. Electricity costs have risen 25% under the Biden administration per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics which tracks the average cost of electricity across U.S. cities every month.
Gasoline prices during the Biden administration have risen well over 50% at the pumps. When Biden took office in January 2021, gas prices were an average of $2.4 per gallon across the country. Even though they’ve come down a bit, the average price per the graph below from Forbes.com is around $3.47 per gallon.
The New York Times, a publication which is certainly no friend to Donald Trump, reports that compared with four years ago, grocery prices are up about 20%, which is devastating families everywhere.
A recent Department of Homeland Security stats factsheet reporting on border encounters since 2021 shows an historic nationwide border collapse allowing 11 million illegal migrants to enter our country with hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied alien children unaccounted for and at risk.
Finally, but far from comprehensively, the United States has never received less respect from our enemies or our allies, militarily.
Recently, two top U.S. generals who oversaw the evacuation from Afghanistan testified before lawmakers that the Biden administration was chaotic in it’s approach and planning for the evacuation. Thirteen U.S. service members were killed by a suicide bomber at the Kabul airport in the final days of the war by the Taliban due to a lack of support.
For Joe Biden not to acknowledge many errors during this poorly planned evacuation and to continue to applaud his decision-making is a slap in the face to Gold Star families and our troops everywhere.
That’s not leadership. In fact, it highlights the dark cloud of ignorance and apathy that has enveloped the Biden administration since 2021.
So, don’t forget where we are and where we truly were prior to the Biden administration. And don’t allow the liberal media to change history when reflecting on the failed presidency that is preparing to exit the White House.
So, how safe should our citizens really feel? It will surprise some.
The United States of America is considered by most to be the most powerful nation on earth.
So, how safe should we currently feel as her citizens?
In October 2024, the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security released their 2025 Homeland Threat Assessment which indicates the “threat of domestic and foreign terrorism” in our country.
This is, of course, tantamount to the IRS reporting on how your tax dollars are being squandered every day in Washington.
Frankly, the report may as well have instructed U.S. citizens to build bomb shelters, stockpile food and water and purchase ammunition.
The threat to our citizens’ safety is as high as it’s ever been. Yet, the secretary of Homeland Security assured the nation, we are in good hands.
“It is because of the remarkable DHS workforce, and our close collaboration with our federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private sector partners, that we are able to meet the challenges and keep the American people safe and secure,” said Alejandro N. Mayorkas.
So, given the state of the union, how would you grade the Biden administration for its role in keeping Americans safe? In my opinion, there is no mark low enough to score this administration’s lackadaisical approach to homeland security.

Public Safety and Security: The terrorism threat environment in the Homeland is expected to remain high over the coming year… foreign terrorist organizations, including ISIS and al Qa’ida maintain their enduring intent to conduct or inspire attacks in the Homeland.
Illegal Drugs: Illegal drugs smuggled into and sold in the United States by transnational and domestic criminal actors continue to pose a lethal threat to communities in the United States.
Influence Operations and Transnational Repression: We expect the Homeland will face threats to public safety from state actors using subversive tactics in an effort to stroke discord and undermine confidence in U.S. domestic institutions.
Border and Immigration Security: Migrant encounters at our border have steadily declined since the beginning of 2024… (Note: The report ignores the previous 3.75 years when the administration allowed millions of illegal migrants to cross our border and “paid for the cost of the move and lodging” with your tax dollars!)
Critical Infrastructure Security: Domestic and foreign adversaries are expected to continue to target our critical infrastructure via prepositioning, cyber, and physical attacks.
Economic Security: Our adversaries – including the PRC (China) – will continue non-market policies and practices, economic espionage and coercive economic tools, and illicit acquisition of technologies and intellectual property to undercut U.S. and partner competitiveness.
What a glowing report of success! Isn’t it simply unfathomable that given this level of threats to our nation, the Biden administration refuses to secure our borders?
It’s equally disturbing that we still have liberal leaders in Democrat (stop saying “democratic, please) pockets of our nation who continue to harbor illegals using your tax dollars and refuse to work with the incoming Trump administration to make America safe again?
It won’t be long until illegals already in our country make a mass exodus to the nearest sanctuary city or state – PERFECT!!
Folks, we must not forget there are nations and entities that despise America and our allies. And the Biden administration has emboldened these people to take action on their hatred.
It is a religious war for some rogue nations. The goal is to destroy “the great Satan” as they describe the U.S. Israel, of course, is described as “the little Satan”.
It is a power struggle for other nations. Their goal is to bring the U.S. to her knees economically and militarily.
Leadership with the resolute desire to put Americans first and gain the respect and yes, even fear, from other nations is critical. We must have a president who will build on American exceptionalism rather than diminish it.
And even then, it will take more than a man. It will take the favor of God.
We are in the process of righting this ship, but the real task lays ahead. Do not fall into the pre-911 mentality! Continue to diligently pray for our nation and DO NOT BE WEARY IN YOUR WELL-DOING!

Marshall University football had a chance to leave their mark in history with a 2024 Sun Belt championship which could be revered and remembered for decades by loyal Herd fans – without blemish.
But fair or not, NCAA transfer portal, NIL and the players choosing to exit the program prior to playing in the Independence Bowl, will create an “asterisk” by the Marshall 2024 football season in the record books – forever.
What a needless travesty for the university, the remaining players loyal to Marshall and the fans who support them.
