Progressives are very frightened this election cycle – and with good reason.
Historically, liberal Democrat campaigns (not “democratic, please) have been built around slogans such as “Change we can believe in,”or “Fundamental transformation” or “Forward” as Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign espoused.
Progressives would have you believe these campaign slogans dealt with issues such as healthcare reform, voting rights, economic equality, and social justice, among other issues. But in reality, these slogans reflect the liberal progressive march to eliminating any semblance of morality or standards heretofore associated with Christianity and our forefather’s vision for our nation.
The goal is and has always been to tenaciously desensitize Americans to the gradual increase in temperature around us, so we don’t leap like the proverbial frog from the boiling pot of water.
This progressive advance includes a move past capitalism and into a socialist society where the government has complete and absolute control over our lives.
But during this week’s Democrat National Convention, the slogan, “We won’t go back” was used by speakers several times, in lieu of their traditional view forward.
Believe me when I tell you they are not referencing socio-economic advancement for the American people! They are, in fact, referencing their fear of losing their ill-gotten power and influence to conservative principled leaders and having the government returned to “We the people”.
Anyone doing their due diligence of fact-checking speeches from the DNC convention, including from the faux Democrat presidential nominee, will very quickly learn it was inundated with lies and deceitful statements to potential voters. The lack of substance regarding accomplishments from the past 3 ½ years was very telling.
Of course, it would be the epitome of hypocrisy for this administration to promise resolution of issues on day one, which they created!
Folks, there is a reason, Kamala Harris is being sequestered in the basement of the White House. Liberal progressives are not stupid. But they believe YOU ARE. They realize that if conservatives are successful at exposing her and her VP choice for whom they really are, they lose.
The strategy worked for Joe Biden, and they are betting it will work for Harris.
Understand, this strategy is supplemental to the liberal, multi-level “ballot harvesting” which helped secure the last election and our demise as a nation.
But amid all the smoke and mirrors, if one looks closely, you will see a dark state trembling at the thought of losing, once again, to Donald J. Trump. Frankly, these snowflakes still have PTSD over their loss to President Trump in 2016. It was at that point the planning began to do anything possible to remove him from office and keep him from ever returning – no matter what it took, legal or otherwise.
But fear is a tremendous motivator for the left. They will stop at nothing to win this election. Conservatives must take advantage of this moment to be even more motivated by their fear.
If Harris wins this election, it is no holds barred. The Supreme Court will be fundamentally transformed. Our Republic will be unrecognizable. The future of our children will be dark. And the American dream will be unreachable.
Yes, it is that serious. Please, please do your homework and vote your faith.
Trust me when I say this will be our last chance. If we lose, conservatives may never win another election.

Have you ever wondered how our nation got so upside-down? Well, it didn’t happen overnight.
And that’s what made it possible.
The most concerning dynamic in this dilemma is we have a nation comprised of a generation (or two) which frankly have never experienced the beauty and success of government of the people, by the people and for the people. They have no frame of reference to understand a viable, flourishing Democracy. And we’ve allowed it to happen.
The only reference they have is what they’ve been exposed to in their lifetime. And sadly, Christian conservatives haven’t been as fervent and determined in the fight. Don’t get mad at me. It’s the truth.
But it’s time we at least begin educating anyone who will listen to the reality that our nation is being destroyed by individuals who are willing to sacrifice our nation’s constitutional core to gain power.
It’s called the progressive movement and is driven by progressive, far left liberals.
In short, progressive liberalism is the perpetual attempt to undermine every pre-conceived notion of right and wrong. Values, principles or morality are predefined standards of behavior and have no place in the progressive vocabulary or playbook.
Liberalism is an ideology (Some say religion) that perverts and confounds every fact and precedent heretofore accepted as the norm. It leverages the process of “desensitization”, or the constant exposure to standards outside the norm in a relentless fashion.
Morality, if even considered, is on a sliding scale, variable to one’s passion and personal belief system.
For example, In the 1970’s one had to visit what was termed an “X-rated” theater to see many of the behaviors or hear some of the language to which we are now exposed on television – in prime time! Constant exposure is integral to the desensitization process. You get “used” to hearing or seeing it and it becomes less offensive in nature and more readily accepted as the norm.
Another example would be abortion. When Roe v. Wade was initially passed in 1973, it was done so with conditions involving the viability of the baby and the health of the mother. Now, abortions are performed with very few limitations, the least of which is the viability of the baby!
It may be simpler now to get an abortion, than it is to get a root canal. The murder of millions a babies every year isn’t even addressed by some politicians anymore.
I’m on a roll, so here’s another example.
Politicians used to hide their socialist tendencies. Now they run campaigns on them! Did you ever think you would see a day when U.S. politicians would openly run on socialist platforms and expect people to buy in? But over the years, the government has forced more and more people into government dependency, hence socialism sprouts from the seeds of addiction to government.
Campaigning on the premise “we will make your wildest dreams come true” has become the liberal Democrat mantra! It’s no longer restricted to Pedro’s campaign promise in Napoleon Dynamite, “If you vote for me, all your wildest dreams will come true.” Democrats have genuinely embraced that platform!
These current quandaries represent only a fraction of the present liberal state and are the result of individuals persistently applying pressure to expose the nation to more and more behaviors previously considered inappropriate.
This liberal attack is also omnidirectional, in nature. The tentacles of progressivism are regularly employed by corrupt politicians and right-wing media outlets who are espoused to the left and pledged to serve and protect this ideology.
Liberalism defiantly asks the question, “Who are you to define the norm?” And any person attempting to define “normal” behavior in society is accused of being racist, a bigot, or homophobe, and is obviously filled with hatred.
It’s the progressive theory of, “morality + conviction + common sense = discrimination”.
Consider a pre-meditated plan for creating a sociological environment where children, as young as elementary age, are exposed to extreme violence, sex, foul language, gender “choices” and anti-capitalistic content in the classroom. What if this methodology was employed years ago at a point in history where it would produce a generation or generations indoctrinated and desensitized to aberrations of these behaviors?
Do you know what we would have? Of course, you do! You’re living in it! Progressives had a plan to create a generation of followers and they’ve executed it perfectly!
Folks, this is progressive liberalism 101! Liberals began infiltrating the classroom and brain-washing your children under your very noses!
Why do you think liberal politicians have been profoundly against private schools and homeschooling? They can’t control the content! They can’t re-write history in their favor. Progressives would never allow a good classical education to stand in the way of progressivism!
Liberalism can only be promoted in a world replete with historical revisions and lies! It’s never worked and never will!
Remember,Progressive liberals and government hate anything or anyone they can’t control. And their agenda involves controlling everything – including you and your family!
Abe Lincoln said, “The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.”
Apparently, liberals were listening, while many of us were not. The fact is, Liberals work harder, are more united and more determined than conservatives.
And we have got to change that!
Haven’t you ever wondered why the Bible and its principles have become so terrifying to liberals? It’s simply because Biblical principles are the antithesis of liberal principles.
Even though our nation was built upon Biblical standards which can be found throughout all of our historical documents, progressives would be stopped dead in their tracks if “people who are called by His (God’s) name will humble themselves, seek Him in prayer and turn from their wicked ways”. The Bible says, “God would forgive our sins and heal our land”.
But this “healing” calls for repentance. Liberal progressives feel that they are gods within themselves and have nothing for which to repent. Hence the prerequisite of eliminating God’s Word in every venue in our nation – especially the schools!
The Bible is God’s law and liberals don’t want law defined for them, by anyone – even God. The Bible isn’t “inclusive” enough to suit their inclusive agenda, which ironically includes everyone except those who disagree!
The Bible offers a narrow gate passable only by the penitent. Liberal progressives don’t want gates, walls, fences, borders or anything that holds them to a behavioral standard. Their job is to question and redefine the standards – all of them!
So, now that you understand liberal progressivism, what are you going to do differently to prevent its advancement in society?
Whatever you do, don’t expect things to change rapidly. We must be as fervent and as patient as liberals were in our gameplan.

But imagine this: What would you attempt to do in life if you knew it were impossible to fail? (Read Philippians 4:13)
Well, if it weren’t for the Holy Bible, God’s incarnate Word to His children, by what standard would we live our lives? From what premise would we measure the principles of “good” and “evil”?
Now, I understand the question is inconsequential for those who theorize mankind evolved from a “big bang” in the universe. But, which requires more faith – the belief that man evolved from a cosmic explosion or that man was created by an Almighty God?
The Bible tells us in John, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” This scripture, while too profound for a man to rightly discern, explains not only the origin of mankind, but the principles by which God planned for His children to live their lives.
So, at this point in our earthly journey, what if those “words” were either removed or left to question moving forward?
The effect would be the same as uprooting a tree in a mighty wind. Without it’s securing roots, the tree would be blown any direction the wind would take it. It would seek sustenance and fulfillment wherever it may land.
My friends, this describes the modern-day, progressive movement and the need for discounting God’s Word in our lives.
Have you ever seen a liberal attack the Quran, the religious text of Islam, the Vedas, the writings of Hinduism, or even Tao Te Ching, the ancient text of Taoism? What makes the Bible so threatening as to draw relentless fire from liberals?
Through the years, I’ve observed numerous ways liberals attack the Bible. While some audaciously declare it to be nonsense, others are subtler, simply bringing to question certain portions of text. Understand, it doesn’t take a “theologian” to prey upon someone with little faith and convince them to question the story of “Jonah and the whale” or Jesus feeding 5000 followers with five loaves of bread and two small fish.
Of course, these events cannot be comprehended by man. They’re miracles!
I submit, if even one scripture from the Bible can be brought to question, we could never believe the others are the infallible, inerrant Word of God? And progressives know that.
Additionally, modern-day liberals seek to rebut certain principles of God’s Word by equating them to bias or prejudice. They often decry Christians as discriminatory or xenophobic when their religious beliefs aren’t inclusive of liberal passions. But Christians are the intolerant ones!
The entire premise of the progressive movement is standards should “adapt” with changing times. They present the Bible as antiquated and methodically challenge it, usually before a younger, less Biblically-rooted audience.
Liberals also use “desensitization” in their pursuit of change. They tenaciously test the “accepted norm”, gradually de-programming the population into a subliminal acceptance. If they can eventually gain an “inch,” that’s a win for a progressive. They understand inches equate to feet, to yards, and eventually miles.
God knew we would face these challenges. That’s why we must not allow God’s Word to be discounted. Knowledge of scripture and the provisions God’s made for us in our lives is essential to protecting our future.
So be steadfast and unafraid to stand firm, even in the face of ridicule. We are told in Romans, “There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
As for the progressive movement, we already know they lose in the end. They just don’t know it yet.
But, we will all have the answers, soon enough. Just from different venues. So, keep the faith.
Any mason knows if the cornerstone is not laid properly, the structure can eventually falter and collapse. With the deepest of convictions, I believe there is a liberal assault on the family unit, or God’s cornerstone to our society, with the intention of re-branding it as non-essential for the progressive era.
In 2014, I wrote a column entitled, “America should refocus on the family.” In the column, I dealt with the importance God placed on the family structure. The very concept of God’s creation of man gives us reason to believe He understands the need for relationships and the importance of family.
In Genesis 2:18, God instituted the family when He said, “It is not good that man should be alone: I will make him an help meet for him.” He then formed Eve from Adam’s rib, declaring, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”
My Christian walk has taught me the attacks from the enemy (whom Christians believe to be Satan) are more heavily directed toward threats to the devil’s plan to steal, kill and destroy in the Kingdom of God. I believe this is the reason the family unit is under attack by liberals who would openly redefine its nature, by whittling away at its foundation.
And despite how often portrayed, the husband is an integral part of the family.
Ephesians reminds husbands to “love your wives, just as Christ loved the church.” The profoundness of this statement is illuminated in that Christ willingly gave his life for the church. In this capacity, the husband is called to be the “priest” of his household, spending time in prayer and attending to his family’s spiritual needs.
Unfortunately, today’s television programs often cast the head of the household as a bumbling fool and lackadaisical in his role as the priest of the home. Don’t think for a moment this is unintentional. It’s a progressive attempt to alter the significance of traditional family structure.
Simply look at the targeted audience of many of today’s television sitcoms or cartoons – our impressionable youth! I believe it’s a deliberate form of indoctrination to a progressive lifestyle.
Look at the channel “Freeform.” The Freeform channel was originally The Christian Broadcasting Network “Family Channel.” The network was eventually sold to Disney in 2001 and renamed ABC “Family,” which propagated the moniker “A new kind of family.” It eventually morphed into Freeform, which incessantly portrays “Becomers,” or viewers between the ages of 14 and 34, as sexually active and engaging in promiscuous lifestyles.
Folks, this is a methodical approach to fundamentally reconstruct the family unit in the likeness of liberalism.
So, what to do? As Christians, we must seek first the Kingdom of God. We must also learn to recognize these liberal attacks in their infancy, before they establish their own sort of “cornerstone” from which they can build on the progressive movement.
Expect to be criticized, even hated, for your faith. But let not your heart be troubled – Jesus understands.
He was crucified for it.
The Bible tells us when we’ve done all we know to do – stand. Remember, every step conservatives take backward, is a step forward for liberals.
Much to the chagrin of liberal Democrats, President Trump’s visit on Thursday of last week was a banner day for the city of Huntington and the state of West Virginia. The turnout and enthusiasm of Trump supporters everywhere clearly illuminates the disconnect between the president’s reported approval ratings and reality.
Remember, the same people trying to convince you Trump’s approval ratings are low are the same folks who tried to persuade you Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide.
Sadly, the American people seem to have increasingly fewer mainstream media outlets which can be trusted to adhere to the gravity of free speech afforded them by the Constitution, a condition I’m concerned will be memorialized as a discordant turning point in our country’s history.
But, it’s quite fascinating that even with the support of the media, the liberal voice is becoming increasingly irrelevant on nearly every front, by virtue of liberals’ expanding progressive ideology moving them further to the left of most Americans.
For posterity, I’d like to pose a few questions to readers.
Do you feel like liberals hate President Trump more than they love our country?
Is there anything Trump will ever do which liberals will support, regardless of the benefit to our nation?
And where does this pathological hatred of the president place liberal leaders in terms of acting on behalf of the American people?
One observation I’ve made is that President Trump has forced many progressives out of their “moderate” closets into the dimly lit darkness of hard-core liberalism, both locally and nationally. Meanwhile, and possibly even more appreciably, conservatives who were heretofore complacently on the sidelines have enthusiastically engaged in the fight.
It’s mind-boggling that progressives continue to propose their liberal policies as a “better deal” for America. The eight-year liberal Obama experiment certainly rendered that argument mute.
The progressive movement involves tenaciously advancing an ideology free of tethering principles and boundaries of morality. And frankly, their methodology for improving America is quite nonsensical.
Liberals believe removing God and His Word from all public venues will make America a better place.
Liberals believe more government intrusion into our lives is a good thing.
Liberals believe government deserves to have more of your hard-earned tax dollars because they will spend it more wisely.
Liberals believe in open borders and anyone who disagrees is a bigot.
Liberals believe abortion-on-demand is the right of every woman and supersedes the life of an innocent baby.
Liberals want to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens.
Liberals want to “progressively” redefine the family structure beyond the traditional union of a man and a woman.
And liberals don’t want to place any restrictions on gender identification, regardless of anatomy.
Is this the America you desire?
I believe liberalism is about fundamentally changing society to accommodate a new, universally accepting social order. And the fact that we have a president who is successfully blocking their movement is driving liberals crazy.
Conservatives have the momentum, so let’s keep working. Tell your representatives to support the president.
Let’s return America to greatness. And continue to make the liberal voice irrelevant in our society.

Madness. Widespread, endemic, institutional madness is upon us. Privileged black students at college in Washington State, with an irony that is lost on them, but not, perhaps, on Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, or George Wallace, are in hysterics because a white liberal professor objected to a day of forced segregation from campus. Perhaps, they could even relabel the toilets and drinking fountains “Black Only” and “White Only”, just for the day.
Madness.
People, (I will refrain from the snowflake or nutso progressive label, that is too easy. Instead, I will note actions and thoughts that are divorced from reality and critical, rational thinking.) are reduced to sobbing hysterics that the climate is not precisely the same as it was…. when? Perhaps we want the climate of 1816, the year without a summer, during the little Ice Age of the 1800s. Or perhaps not. Still, it is a source of great concern, to people who react to the latest act of Muslim Jihadist terror and murder with nonchalance, except to worry that people less tolerant will react badly to the act.

Many things that were once not tolerated by social mores are now supposed to be tolerated, nay embraced! Rational people exercise discretion, and can judge that one should tolerate the Sikh sitting next to you on the train, whereas one ought not to tolerate, for example, the idiot who insists on smoking a cigarette at the gas pump while you are filling up your car. Rational people do not tolerate everything, or they will die. Neither do they refuse to tolerate someone who simply disagrees with them or have a different skin color. (Note to the students at Evergreen College, an institution that in any rational society will close its doors as parents refuse to send their children there, read the speech of MLK for insight on content of character vs color of skin). We can tolerate much that is good and fine. We must not tolerate evil or danger.

Cultural norms that worked effectively to build an evolving, nurturing, and ever better civilization for over millennia are being cast aside in a whim of malignant tolerance. Western civilizations have eliminated slavery as a cultural norm. Eastern and middle eastern have not. The West: progress in science, economic advancement, and individual freedom and standards of living. The Near and Far East: not so much. Yet the family is under assault, middle aged blokes in dresses should not be kept out of the lady’s room, so called feminists embrace a Muslim culture which relegates women back to the “property “of some man, and enforces cruel punishments and maiming on them, while physically assaulting American women who simply wish to speak with an opposing point of view.
Madness. Pure Madness.
In one of the Batman movies, a chemical attack causes mass psychosis in Gotham City. Batman saves the day by destroying the evil men trying to tear Gotham apart, and distributes the antidote to save everyone and go back to the imperfect, but striving for improvement, Gotham.
The antidote to this madness is rational, common sense, critical thinking. The antidote is accepting fact, separated from emotion. The antidote is a deep breath and a large dose of reality: life as it is, not as progressive fantasies wish it to be.
The question, then, is who will be Batman?
We invent superheroes to take the place of ordinary men, doing great things in difficult circumstances, and give us hope.
Who will be Batman? On this D Day, the 6th of June, we are all Batman. Just ordinary guys, but plowing ahead through the fear and danger to face the enemy and defeat a crazed and wrong-headed ideology.
The progressive movement, or liberal ideology as many have come to know it, incurred a serious setback with the election of Donald Trump. And they’re not happy about it.
In fact, it seems they’ve nearly lost all sense of reality.
Last week, multiple news outlets, including Breitbart, reported witches across the country gathered on Friday to “cast a spell” with the hopes of “binding” Trump and ejecting him from office.
Per the spell “Facebook event page,” the purpose was to initiate “a mass binding ritual to be performed at midnight on every waning crescent moon until Donald Trump is removed from office.”
So liberals simply refusing to accept the reality of a Trump presidency can now escape to an “alternate dimension.”
A February column by Peter Hasson in The Daily Caller reported “liberals seeking refuge from reality now have a fake news website where they can pretend to live in a world where Hillary Clinton is president!”
Unidentified site proprietors reportedly manage a satirical, repugnant news site devoted to covering stories from an “alternate universe” where Hillary won the presidential election. The site’s description reads: “Long live the true president, Hillary Rodham Clinton.”
Liberals are scraping the bottom of the barrel searching for methods to perpetuate their progressive movement.
I suppose they should be worried. Politifact confirms Democrats have never experienced the large number of losses in legislatures they’ve incurred in recent years. Voters have not only stripped Congress of nearly 70 Democrats since Barack Obama’s presidency, but more than 900 state legislators!
The American people have had enough of failing progressive ideology.
But let’s be clear, if conservatism is to succeed, the leaders in whom voters have placed their trust had better come through – with absolutely no compromising of principles.
Understand, true conservatism is a steadfast guide of standards and values. It doesn’t subscribe to a sliding scale of morality that resets with mankind’s latest thirst for pleasure and independence.
In fact, when conservatism budges, it morphs into progressivism. Many of us have witnessed the self-destruction of a progressive, unrestrained society over the years.
Twenty years ago, a debate about “which bathroom to use” would have been odd to say the least. But now, it’s integral to the progressive platform.
Organizations like the North American Man/Boy Love Association advocate deviant love relationships between men and boys as an alternative lifestyle.
Websites like “Ashley Madison” offer the indulgence of a “discreet encounter,” or a protected way to cheat on your spouse. The website sports over 50 million members!
Marijuana has now been legalized for recreational use in seven states, as well as the District of Columbia.
The list of progressive insanity goes on. What will our future hold if liberals prevail?
But liberals embrace this “progressive” moniker. They flaunt the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of “progress” and condemn anyone as intellectually “deplorable” if they don’t subscribe to it.
But this isn’t progress in industry, technology or science – it’s societal euthanasia.
So, what will liberals be willing to do to resume their “paused” movement?
Get ready.

Sadly, as our nation wars against issues like nuclear proliferation, illegal immigration and rampant Islamic terrorism, we have no choice but to focus our attention on potentially debilitating social onslaughts from progressives.
Emboldened by successes achieved under the most liberal president in my lifetime, we’re becoming increasingly impinged upon by members of society disengaged from principles of morality and social conscience.
And why not? They’re simply following the lead block of a president whose success at fundamentally transforming America is unprecedented.
What began as a societal “pursuit of acceptance,” the LGBT lifestyle has successfully opened the door to a new world order of “interrelation” and recognition.
And knowing liberals will never be satisfied until they’ve removed all barriers of virtue and incorruption, I believe the battle has only begun.
I’m amazed how liberals aggrandize the progressive movement in our nation. Their implication that conservatism seeks to oppress civil rights and bolster social injustice is laughable.
Progressivism has historically been laden with unintended consequences and is now beginning to impact our nation in ways we never dreamed.
As of last week, 12 states, including Kentucky and West Virginia, have joined in a lawsuit against the federal government over its transgender bathroom guidelines for schools, as reported by multiple news organizations, including CNN. The lawsuit seeks to block the federal government from “implementing, applying or enforcing the new rules, regulations and guidance interpretations.”
Understand, there’s a pattern progressives follow when establishing a foothold from which they can propagate their agenda, and it’s important to identify the early phases.
Progressives understand they must advance their agenda “progressively.” “Step one” is to challenge traditionally accepted standards. In this case, it’s the conservative interpretation of federal anti-discrimination laws.
Achieving protection “under the radar” for even a small group of individuals may be perceived as only one small step for a liberal, but it’s actually one giant leap for progressivism!
From that point, progressives tenaciously advance the scale of “acceptance” and “protection” in our society under the guise of human and civil rights.
Suppose pedophiles begin leveraging similar tactics seeking protection akin to those waged by the LGBT rights activists, arguing their desire for children is a “sexual orientation” and no different than heterosexual or homosexual desires?
Consider NAMBLA, the North American Man/Boy Love Association, whose website states it’s a political, civil rights and educational organization whose goal is to end “the extreme oppression of men and boys in mutually consensual relationships.”
Would it matter to a liberal if this organization sought protection under the same illogical set of values?
Folks, we’re in a battle for the very soul of our nation. I expect ambitions of tolerance we never thought possible.
Think about it. How many of us, even 10 years ago, would have envisioned the federal government allowing individuals to choose the restroom that aligned with their gender “perception” rather than their physiology?
It’s time we set progressivism apart from simply being advances in technology and social injustice.
Progressivism seeks to remove the metric of morality and the edict of conscience.
